“I recently worked with TFW Band at a wedding in Manchester, VT. I was the planner for the couple, who had booked the band, prior to me joining the picture. I could not have been more impressed when I reached out to the band to begin finalizing all of the logistical details. Dru, the band's main contact for the wedding, was not only responsive, but extremely accommodating when plans had to shift slightly and additional requests were made. Nothing ever felt like an inconvenience. After our pre-wedding conversations, I was left feeling completely assured that every music and sound detail would go smoothly on the day. And sure enough, TFW exceeded my expectations.
On the day of the wedding, the band got on with set-up and were completely self-sufficient (which is music to a planner's ears). Their sound tech, Sam, was extremely knowledgeable and able to make sure 3 different locations all had what they needed, well in advance of the set-up time cut offs. Sam also helped with cues for the ceremony and everything was executed to perfection, including the beautiful music played by the band's keyboardist, David.
But it wasn't just their professionalism and ease to work with that impressed me. The entire band played at the reception and did such an amazing job. The couple had requested a few traditional Jewish songs be played for the Hora, and you would have never known that the band had just learned 3 different songs prior to the wedding. Honestly, it sounded like they had been playing those songs for years. TFW Band were amazing at playing the right songs to get everyone on the dancefloor, and keep them there! They had the best energy the entire night, and created such a wonderful atmosphere for guests of all ages. Just a wonderful band all around and I hope to work with them again soon!”
